The NSMS Standard Production program has an immediate opening for an ambitious Finance professional to join our team as a Principal Financial Analyst. This is a unique opportunity to work in a classified production environment, where all tasks are performed onsite. Our team is responsible for financial reporting and analysis, Estimate at Completions (EAC), Earned Value.

Management Systems (EVMS), and ad hoc finance support to the program. As a member of the NSMS Standard Production Finance team, you will be joining a friendly, high-performing group that values trust, mutual respect, and the pursuit of innovative solutions to meet critical program objectives.

What You Will Do

  • Lead and coordinate aspects of quarterly Estimate at Completion (EAC) processes in a classified environment.
  • Develop and analyze trends in spend rates, EVMS metrics, and headcount planning to provide actionable insights.
  • Oversee and support the cash collection process by forecasting billings and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to ensure timely cash receipts.
  • Support the implementation, compliance, and maintenance of contractual and internal EVMS requirements.
  • Prepare detailed weekly and monthly program reports, including executive summaries, to support decision-making at multiple levels of the organization.

Qualifications You Must Have

  • Typically requires: A Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or related field or equivalent experience and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years experience.
  • Experience performing ad-hoc analysis, data integrity checks, and/or reconciliations
  • Experience with Microsoft tool suite (Excel, Word, Powerpoint), including advanced Excel skills.
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Qualifications We Prefer

  • Active DoD Security Clearance
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities with limited oversight and prioritize workload
  • Detailed understanding of key financial metrics
  • Understanding of Raytheon financial and accounting policies and procedures
  • Ability to frame and interpret issues for Management
  • Knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), Cost Accounting Standards (CAS) and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
  • Ability to work in an autonomous work environment
  • Strong analytical, problem solving and decision-making skills
  • Self-starting, motivated individual with excellent written and oral communication skills

  • Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products.

The salary range for this role is 86,800 USD - 165,200 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
