Role Summary
As an Automotive Field Application Engineer, you will serve as the primary on-site technical interface for customers, providing hands-on support for BMS application across automotive MCU–centric, AFE systems. This role requires strong system-level understanding, excellent troubleshooting skills, and the ability to work closely with customers over extended periods at their sites.
Responsibilities
- Provide frequent and long-term on-site technical support for automotive customers, acting as the main technical contact.
- Support system-level integration involving Automotive MCU (AMCU), PMIC, In‑Vehicle Networking (CAN/LIN/FlexRay/Ethernet), and AFE.
- Assist customers with hardware bring-up, software integration, debugging, and validation activities.
- Diagnose complex issues at the HW, SW, and system levels; drive problem resolution through coordination with internal AE, R&D, and product teams.
- Support customer projects during development, debugging, and early production phases.
- Deliver technical training, hands-on guidance, and best practices to customer engineering teams.
Requirements
- 5–8 years of experience in automotive electronics, embedded systems, or customer-facing technical roles, familiar with BMS application.
- Broad system knowledge covering MCU, power devices, networking, and mixed-signal components.
- Familiarity with embedded software stacks, drivers, BSPs, and debugging tools.
- Strong customer-facing skills with proven ability to handle on-site technical pressure.
- Willingness to stay at customer locations for extended periods when required.
- Good spoken and written English for daily technical communication.
