Not RequiredWe are seeking a driven, hands-on Project Engineer to lead an Integrated Product Team (IPT) supporting the design, development, and delivery of advanced heat exchanger systems for high-performance aerospace engine applications.
This role requires a strong blend of technical depth, program execution, and leadership across cross-functional teams.
What You Will Do
Lead and guide an Integrated Product Team (IPT), ensuring alignment to defined requirements, program milestones, and successful execution
Identify program risks early and drive mitigation strategies to maintain schedule, cost, and technical objectives
Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and cost estimates, including Earned Value tracking and financial performance reporting
Manage assigned component budgets and proactively communicate any scope, cost, or schedule impacts
Drive Root Cause and Corrective Action (RCCA) investigations and implement effective solutions
Diagnose and resolve performance issues such as fouling, leakage, and pressure drop, including support for in-service components
Support prototype builds, field testing, and in-service issue resolution
Own all aspects of hardware verification testing, including test facility selection (internal/external), test plan development, execution oversight, and reporting
Develop and execute technology development plans and manufacturing development plans
Create detailed test plans, procedures, and technical documentation
Prepare and deliver technical proposals, engineering assessments, and design review presentations for internal and customer audiences
Report team progress, key challenges, and solution strategies to customers and engineering leadership
Recommend and implement design improvements and product modifications based on data, testing, and field performance
Collaborate across engineering, manufacturing, quality, and customer teams to ensure successful product delivery
Qualifications You Must Have
Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experience
Prior experience in project management, including scheduling, cost estimation, and financial tracking
Qualifications We Prefer
Experience in product development, thermal systems, or heat exchanger technologies, including prototype development, testing, and validation
Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams or IPTs in a technical environment
Strong background in Earned Value Management (EVM) for program performance tracking and reporting
Demonstrated expertise in root cause analysis and structured problem-solving, with application in both development and in-service environments
Experience supporting manufacturing/production and resolving field or in-service issues
Background in aerospace or high-performance engine systems (preferred)
Experience with customer-facing engineering, including technical proposals and program reviews
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Project) for analysis, reporting, and presentations

The salary range for this role is 107,500 USD - 204,500 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
