Introduction:                                                                                                                     

We are looking for a customer-facing technical expert who will drive MIPS IP, Custom Silicon, Software Services across China’s leading companies. As the primary technical interface, you will own pre-sales support, design-in, post-silicon bring-up and on-site debug for MIPS products and ecosystem tools. This role reports to the Sr Director, China Business Development of MIPS.

Your Job:

• Deliver technical pitches, architecture reviews and benchmark data to demonstrate MIPS performance, power and area advantages

• Guide integration of MIPS products into customer SoCs: clock/reset, power domains, AXI/AHB interconnect, memory maps

• Configure MIPS Toolchain, debugger, and performance profiler, train customer software teams.

• Represent MIPS at China trade shows, workshops and present technical papers.

• Collect market intelligence on MCU/SoC roadmaps, price points and competitive landscape, feedback to product management.

Other Responsibilities: 

• Perform all activities in a safe and responsible manner and support all Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements and programs

Required Qualifications:

• BS in Electrical Engineering/CS or above

• 4+ Years of Experience SoC/CPU IP design or FAE experience.

• Experience in C/assembly debugging, GNU toolchain, and on-chip debug tools.

• Fluency in English Language – written & verbal

Preferred Qualifications:

• Exposure to AI/vision, automotive IVI, networking or SSD controller designs.

• Existing relationships with China fabless companies and foundry (GF, SMIC, TSMC, UMC) flow.

• Knowledge of Automotive and functional safety (ISO 26262).
