Principal Content Architect and Builder

Responsibilities

  • Defining the enterprise vision for content architecture, ensuring scalability and alignment with global experience strategies.
  • Establishing governance frameworks for structured content, metadata, and taxonomies to enable dynamic personalization and atomic content reuse.
  • Driving AI-powered innovation, architecting systems for intelligent content creation, assembly, and delivery across marketing, product, and service ecosystems.
  • Influencing cross-functional roadmaps, integrating content architecture into UX, design systems, and engineering layers.
  • Leading experimentation and prototyping, delivering proofs of concept that validate strategic concepts and accelerate adoption.
  • Mentoring senior architects, building organizational capability in AI-driven content systems.
  • Serving as a thought leader, publishing guidance, presenting at industry forums, and hosting workshops on AI-assisted design practices.
  • Establishing KPIs and measurement frameworks, connecting architecture decisions to business outcomes.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in content architecture, content strategy, or CMS modeling, with expertise in enterprise-scale implementations and headless CMS platforms (e.g., Contentful).
  • Proven ability to set and execute content architecture strategy at enterprise scale, influencing executive stakeholders.
  • Deep knowledge of structured content, metadata frameworks, and AI integration for digital experiences.
  • Expertise in generative AI frameworks and spec-driven development, with a track record of delivering prototypes.
  • Strong understanding of digital ecosystems, including CMS, CRM, marketing automation, and personalization platforms.
  • Experience in governance, compliance, and risk management, including regulatory frameworks such as HIPAA and GDPR.
  • Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex concepts and influence at all levels.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
  • Experience publishing thought leadership content and speaking at industry events.
  • Familiarity with vibe-coding techniques and advanced experimentation practices.


If you will be working at home occasionally or permanently, the internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload.

For this position, we anticipate offering an annual salary of 150,700 - 251,100 USD / yearly, depending on relevant factors, including experience and geographic location.

This role is also anticipated to be eligible to participate in an annual bonus and long term incentive plan.
