What You Will Do:

  • Independently conduct chemical product development and qualification testing using a variety of laboratory techniques and equipment.
  • Run and maintain a variety of laboratory equipment
  • Apply knowledge of chemistry, project management, and related scientific principles to execute technical projects.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in chemistry and related fields to solve complex problems and deliver innovative solutions in fast paced environment.
  • Summarize and present technical findings in internal and external settings, including customer meetings and industry conferences.
  • Act with considerable latitude in determining technical approaches to meet objectives.

Position Details:

  • 6601 Trunk St., Odessa, TX 79762
  • 10 – 20 % Travel
  • You will need to live in the Odessa or surrounding areas as this is an on-site position
  • Work schedule : Monday – Friday 8 am – 5 pm

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Ph.D. in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering or related field with fewer than 2 years of relevant work experience or M.S. with 4 years of relevant work experience or B.S. with 6 years of relevant work experience.

Physical Demands:

  • Role is deemed safety-sensitive and may be subject to employer or customer drug testing

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Oil and gas experience
  • Experience in electrochemistry, wet chemistry, formulation work
  • Experience with running and troubleshooting various performance testing and analytical lab equipment
