Title: Principal Business Development Representative (Fuel, CFR)

Location: London, Virtual

This role is primarily focused on acquiring new clients by promoting and selling NCR Voyix’s full portfolio of software and services solutions, within the Fuel & Convenience retail sector. The position is responsible for identifying and engaging prospective customers across EMEA and APAC, understanding their business challenges, and positioning NCR Voyix solutions to drive adoption, long-term value, and profitable growth.

The role plays a key part in expanding NCR Voyix’s market presence by securing new customer logos, developing sustainable sales pipelines, and delivering high levels of customer satisfaction

Key areas of responsibility: 

  • Develop a strong understanding of the retail and fuel & convenience industry, including market trends and competitive landscape, and clearly articulate the business value of the NCR Voyix Retail solution portfolio to customers.

  • Drive new business development by identifying, qualifying, and engaging prospective retail customers across EMEA and APAC, with a strong focus on new logo acquisition.

  • Align customer business objectives with appropriate NCR Voyix self-service and retail solutions, developing robust business cases both with customers and internal stakeholders.

  • Create and execute strategic account plans and opportunity plans, supported by high-quality, professional customer presentations and proposals.

  • Own and manage customer relationships within the assigned account base, ensuring all customer requirements are identified, addressed, and converted into revenue growth opportunities.

  • Act as the primary liaison between customers and internal teams, including sales support, solution consultants, product management, factory, delivery, and services organizations.

  • Take full ownership for all prospect and opportunity management within the assigned territory or account base.

  • Capture, manage, and update opportunities within the sales funnel, ensuring effective progression from pipeline creation through to deal closure.

  • Continuously build and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified opportunities, executing successful sales campaigns to deliver quarter-on-quarter revenue growth.

  • Gather and leverage customer, market, and industry insights to effectively respond to customer needs and influence solution positioning.

  • Utilize industry knowledge and customer relationships to identify future business opportunities and drive proactive account expansion.

  • Anticipate and respond to competitive threats to protect and maximize NCR Voyix’s customer retention and wallet share.

  • Understand both formal and informal decision-making processes within customer organizations and establish appropriate engagement cadence and governance.

  • Promote and sell the full NCR Voyix Retail portfolio, including:

    • Software solutions.

    • Professional services.

    • Managed services.

  • Lead all phases of the end-to-end sales cycle, including:

    • Lead generation and prospecting.

    • Needs discovery and solution qualification.

    • Solution demonstration and value articulation.

    • Commercial negotiation and contract closure.

  • Maintain accurate forecasting and pipeline reporting to consistently achieve sales targets and revenue objectives.

Skills & Experience Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business or Commerce (MBA preferred).

  • Proven experience in enterprise or solution-based sales, ideally within retail, fuel & convenience, or related technology sectors.

  • Strong relationship management and consultative selling skills .

  • Ability to understand complex customer requirements and position end-to-end solutions.

  • Experience selling multi-component solutions that include software, services, and managed offerings.

  • Strong commercial acumen with a focus on profitable growth and customer satisfaction.

  • Ability to operate effectively in an international, multi-cultural environment.
