A Brief Overview
Designs and develops IT architecture (integrated process, applications, data and technology) solutions to business problems in alignment with the enterprise architecture direction and standards. Performs technical planning, architecture development and modification of specifications. Develops specifications for new products/services, applications and service offerings. Assesses the compatibility and integration of products/services proposed as standards in order to ensure an integrated architecture across interdependent technologies.

What you will do

  • Develops an architectural maturity model and strategic roadmap to move teams from projects to final production, as well as transform the execution of work to an agile framework.

  • Formulates actionable views utilizing in-house tool reporting and architectural visualizations to successfully enhance the company's brand recognition and competitive advantage in the industry.

  • Develops standard processes to enable faster decision-making and transparent observability in the team's practices and protocols.

  • Inspects architecture patterns to ensure correct patterns are leveraged for scalability of new business functionality, as well as resiliency, reliability, stability, and availability of existing business functionality.

  • Applies advanced knowledge of architecture when assisting teams in forming seamless deployment and rollback plans for key business initiatives, such as Air Support, Omnichannel, and Mail to Retail.

  • Consults with key stakeholders across the broader organization to understand impacts, communicate changes, and develop best practices for architectural schematics.

  • Develops processes for identifying areas of opportunity within the team and implementing processes to improve the team's performance and skills development.

  • Facilitates relationships with Digital, Business, and IT partners to develop innovative and strategic strategies across the retail pharmacy line of business.

  • Drives key architectural decisions with the team to ensure architectural standards and guidelines are met on all key business initiatives.


For this role you will need Minimum Requirements

  • 10+ years work experience

  • Mastery of problem solving and decision making skills

  • Mastery of collaboration and teamwork

  • Mastery of growth mindset (agility and developing yourself and others) skills

  • Mastery of execution and delivery (planning, delivering, and supporting) skills

  • Mastery of business intelligence


Preferred Qualifications

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) preferred.

  • Certified Agile Developer (CAD) preferred.


Education

  • Bachelor's degree preferred/specialized training/relevant professional qualification.

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$144,200.00 - $288,400.00


This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls.  The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.  This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.  This position also includes an award target in the company’s equity award program.
