Job Description Summary
The Continuous Improvement (CI) Analyst will support the Manager of Continuous Improvement in executing the strategy, governance, and delivery of the Finance Operations CI portfolio across global processes within the CFO organization. This role will collaborate with IT, Shared Services/BPO, and business leaders to drive measurable improvements in cycle time, quality, cost-to-serve, touchless processing rates, and control effectiveness.
Responsibilities and Key Accountabilities
Support the definition and execution of the Finance CI vision, roadmap, and annual OKRs aligned to CFO strategic priorities.
Assist in managing the CI intake, triage, and stage-gate governance process to maintain a value-tracked initiative pipeline.
Contribute to the development and maintenance of global CI playbooks, standard work, and governance frameworks.
Support cross-functional CI and automation initiatives by preparing charters, benefit cases, and execution plans.
Participate in portfolio reviews, RAID log updates, and executive readouts to ensure visibility and accountability.
Facilitate Value Stream Mapping (VSM), Kaizen events, and end-to-end process redesigns for Finance operations.
Help define and maintain KPI dashboards tracking metrics such as touchless invoice rate, cost per invoice, DPO/OTP, cycle time, etc.
Link CI improvements to financial outcomes including savings, cost avoidance, and working capital impact.
Support change management efforts including communications, training, and post-implementation hypercare.
Ensure redesigned processes comply with SOX, policy, and segregation of duties requirements.
Promote a culture of continuous improvement and innovation across Finance Operations.
Other Responsibilities:
Perform all activities in a safe and responsible manner and support all Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements and programs.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
3–5 years of experience in Continuous Improvement / Operational Excellence, preferably within Finance or Shared Services.
Experience with program management tools such as Smartsheet, MS Project, or Jira.
Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
Analytical mindset with attention to detail and problem-solving ability.
Preferred Qualifications:
PMP/PgMP certification and Prosci/Change Management certification.
Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification
Experience supporting global CI portfolios and delivering measurable benefits.
Collaborative and business-savvy with a proactive approach to identifying risks and opportunities.
Resilient under pressure with a bias for action.
