About the role:
We’re reimagining the next generation of MYOB’s experience. This experience is the intersection of AI, automation, insight and human behaviour and value come together to keep our customers in flow and doing that they love most when it comes to running their business.
As our Principal AI Experience Designer, you’ll help us shape how our customers see, feel, and trust AI inside our products.
You’ll help us define and execute our AI experience Strategy along with the other Design Leaders. You will help lead the evolution of our UX, UI, and service patterns to build experiences that feel intelligent, human, and beautifully cohesive. You’ll connect the dots between brand, product, data, and design systems to bring AI to life in ways that are useful, ethical, and distinctly MYOB.
Drive and deliver the customer experience vision
You’ll play a pivotal role in our design leadership group, partnering closely with Group Design Managers, Research, Product, Engineering, and Brand to:
- Define the vision for MYOB’s AI-first experience.
- Drive strategic, complex design projects that explore new interfaces, agentic workflows, and next-generation UI.
- Elevate craft excellence, creative experimentation, and design thinking across teams.
- Work to lift the profile of MYOB as an innovation-led organisation in the community.
- Coach the wider business in the value and skills required to create exceptional AI-first design experiences for our users
The skills you'll need:
- Strong in UX/UI/Product Design, with deep experience leading cross-functional projects from discovery through delivery.
- Proven record designing or leading AI-powered, data-driven, or highly interactive products.
- Strong skills in interaction design, visual design, and prototyping with emerging tools (Figma, Framer, V0, Diagram, etc.) and wider exploration in other AI tools and applications
- Experience guiding design systems or component libraries that scale across products.
- Proven ability to define strategy, connecting customer insight, data, and design to business outcomes.
- Comfort working in ambiguity: simplifying complex workflows and aligning diverse stakeholders.
- Strong storyteller and communicator with the ability to make the abstract tangible and influence through design.
- Curiosity for AI, agents, automation, and how they reshape experience design.
- Experience working with conversational, generative, or adaptive interfaces.
