Northrop Grumman Space Systems is seeking a Principal Agile Product Owner to join the Deep Space Advanced Radar Capability (DARC) program. As a Principal Agile Product Owner, you will be part of the radar operations team and act as a Product Owner supporting the algorithms, calibration and data analysis team. This role will be based in Colorado Springs, CO.
Basic Qualifications
- Active Secret clearance required at the time of application
- Bachelor's Degree in Science with 5+ years of relevant experience; Master's Degree in Science with 3+ years of relevant experience; PhD with 1+ years of relevant experience.
- Basic space domain radar algorithm and/or data analysis experience
- Can build tasking backlogs from radar algorithm work requests
- Can build tasking backlogs from radar analysis and trade study work requests
- Understanding and ability to work with SMEs to define an effective work breakdown of radar analysis and algorithm tasks
- Experience presenting technical status and topics to internal and external (govt. customers and SETAs) stakeholders
- Jira, Confluence experience
- Agile experience (Certified Scrum and/or Kanban)
- Experience working with teams of technical SMEs
- Excellent time management and meeting facilitation skills
- Agile story writing experience
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience developing Matlab simulations
- Support to PO/Team lead roles
- Experience working with teams developing Matlab simulations
- SAFe Agile experience
- Experience building team buy-in to Agile processes
Primary Level Salary Range: $103,600.00 - $155,400.00
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
