Northrop Grumman Defense Systems is seeking Principal Agile Coach / Sr. Principal Agile Coach – 8001-1. This position will be located in Roy, Utah and will support the Sentinel Program.
Job Responsibilities:
Provides oversight of the Agile framework to ensure operational excellence in product deliveries. Provides guidance and helps educate the team in Scrum, Extreme Programming (XP), Kanban, and Scaled Agile framework (SAFe), ensuring that the Agile process is being followed. Helps remove impediments and fosters an environment for high-performing team dynamics, continuous flow, and relentless improvement. This job code is intended for use for those performing Agile duties full time.
• Plan and conduct training sessions across programs
• Develop additional on-demand training materials Leads and monitors technical application development, deployment, and support activities, while communicating and adhering to established procedures, processes and timelines.
• Apply SCRUM/Kanban methodologies in the support of rapid prototype development and continuous service delivery.
• Assists in managing timelines, resolving problems, and coaching team members on Agile methodologies.
• Establish strategy and approach to transform customer software development from a traditional SDLC methodology to Agile methodology.
• Lead the development and execution plan to support the transformation to Agile methodology, including development of processes, templates, artifacts, training materials, and lessons-learned.
• Conduct Scrum team training, scrum of scrums, PI planning sessions, retrospective workshops, and Lean software development workshops for infrastructure teams.
• Develop Agile/Scrum processes, including analysis of existing processes, elicitation of requirements from subject matter experts, and application of industry best practices and standards.
• Demonstrates strong presentation, facilitation and written communication skills
• Demonstrates Strong Earned Value in a Agile Environment Skills.
• Strong Atlassian and Jira skills for teams
• Demonstrates strong ability to communicate technical topics to management and non-technical audiences, as well as interface with the senior technical customers on a daily basis.
Leads programs or organizations in their adoption of Agile practices. Provides best practices, process tailoring, training, and team and leadership coaching to enable effective Agile execution. Supports proposal development, risk management, release management, and project planning activities. Assists in developing, maintaining, and continuously improving standard Agile training, practices, policies, and procedures across operations and development lifecycles. • (level 3): 5 Years related experience with Bachelors in Science; 3 Years with Masters; 1 Years with PhD or 04 additional years in lieu of a degree.
• (level 4): 8 Years related experience with Bachelors in Science; 6 Years with Masters; 4 Years with PhD or 04 additional years in lieu of a degree.

Primary Level Salary Range: $98,400.00 - $147,600.00Secondary Level Salary Range: $122,800.00 - $184,200.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
