If you naturally visualize story lines and prefer to organize complex information into a dynamic format, KBR Mission Technology Solutions (MTS) is seeking Visual Solution Designer to join a team dedicated to pursuing assisted acquisitions and strategic contracts. The work combines a need for clear strategic thinking, project management skills, and a passion for compelling and persuasive graphics-oriented communication. Though the position is remote, you will be an integral part of a collaborative pursuit team focused on winning new work.
Key Responsibilities:
This position supports the development of strategic and FEDSIM pursuits as a strategist and content contributor. This combines a need for clear and strategic thinking, project management skills, and dedication to compliance with requirements. We are looking for an integral team player who thrives on cooperative and collaborative work with others (remote and in-person), while also being able to work independently, coordinate on multiple projects simultaneously, and maintain communication with various stakeholders. The primary responsibilities encompass contributing to multi-layer strategies to target and win new business; content development including Basis of Estimates, Staffing Plans and Rationale, and Technical and Management. In addition, contributions to sales material development, and research and analysis. Other responsibilities include:
Support pursuit teams from opportunity identification through award
Collaborate with Capture and Solutioning team members to fully understand client desires and to develop differentiated solutions and strategies
Translate solutions and strategies into compelling content
Provide clear, compelling, and compliant written responses that incorporate win strategies
Write and prepare pursuit support artifacts including white papers, presentations, and marketing collateral
Assess written content for integration and consistency of strategies, win themes, and discriminators. Assess consistency of pricing with management and technical elements
Work with graphics professionals to manage the development of high-quality and impactful graphics
Collaborate with business and functional leadership for pursuit support and direction
Perform all other duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Skills Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in plus 12 years of related experience
Experience with FEDSIM pursuits and other large (>$200M) opportunities
Strong work ethic with the willingness to work overtime on short notice
Strong project management skills in team facilitation, as well as managing resources and schedules
Excellent communication/presentation skills including exceptional persuasive writing skills
Superior organization and follow-through skills
Strong interpersonal skills and analytical ability
Excellent business acumen skills
Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and adapt to changing priorities and assignments
Ability to lead and work together as a team, either in a support role or as a project leader
Ability to translate objectives into a schedule and series of activities to meet the requirements
Frequent travel may be required. Potential for remote work exists
Proficiency with Microsoft 365 and familiarity with SharePoint
Basic Compensation:
$146,900.00 - $179,600.00 (US National Average)
The offered rate will be based on the selected candidate’s knowledge, skills, abilities and/or experience and in consideration of internal parity.
Additional Compensation:
KBR may offer bonuses, commissions, or other forms of compensation to certain job titles or levels, per internal policy or contractual designation. Additional compensation may be in the form of sign on bonus, relocation benefits, short term incentives, long term incentives, or discretionary payments for exceptional performance.
