Key Responsibilities / Duties:
Gather and analyze information on existing business processes in order to make recommendations that seek to improve business systems and processes
Provide business analysis during all phases of a project
Analyze and document requirements for improvements to systems and / or business processes
May involve investigation of third-party vendors or systems
Understand the different business fields in database and map the fields across applications
Clearly document solutions and recommendations to business problems
Lead reviews of requirements and designs with relevant business partners to obtain agreement and sign off of proposals
Secure and coordinate the necessary resources for a project by working with appropriate line managers including any vendor or third-party resources
Create and present accurate estimates of effort, costs and timescales for proposed projects and assist in prioritization
Coordinate user testing, ensuring issues are resolved in a pragmatic and appropriate manner
Assist in maintaining an application issues log to gather any system or business process issues, enhancements, bugs or new business requirements
Design and implement ongoing support arrangements for delivered systems
Provide post implementation support
Create and maintain documentation for systems and processes
Assist with developing improvements to team processes and procedures
Assist with monitoring system integrity and data processes to ensure a high standard of service and availability is provided to end clients for supported applications
Working Conditions:
Normally works a regular schedule of hours, however hours may vary depending upon the project or assignment.
Willingness to travel both domestically and internationally. Frequency and duration to be determined by manager.
Work Experience / Knowledge:
Demonstrable experience managing projects including responsibility for the whole project life cycle and completing projects on time and within budget
Ability to perform Business Analysis and Data mapping across multiple applications
Experience in writing Database queries, ability to read and comprehend stored procedures to understand the business logic
Experience with Agile and Scrum methodology
Experience creating detailed cost / benefit analysis preferred
Well versed with all activities of Software Development Life Cycle
Experience / exposure to Snowflake preferred
Good understanding of BA Validation Testing and Testing frameworks
Experience in taking care of Vendor applications and custom interface development is preferred
Experience analyzing business or technical problems and proposing and implementing solutions
IT literate with good knowledge of the Microsoft suite of products
Knowledge of change management, process documentation and testing tools
At least 5 years of experience in similar role

Functional Area Required Skills/Experience/Knowledge:
Investment Operations
A strong understanding of Fixed Income, Equity asset classes
Broad knowledge of the systems and business processes in use for the Front-, Mid-, and Back-office functions within Investment management.
Understanding of Investments data and market data supporting investment processes.
Formal Education: (minimum requirement to perform job duties)
A Bachelor’s Degree in Management Information Systems or Computer Science or Business Administration is preferred or commensurate relevant work experience
Formal business analysis training and/or qualification preferred
Formal project management training and/or qualification preferred.
