Role Overview

We are seeking a driven and experienced Sales professional to originate new client business and generate revenue for our Futures, OTC Clearing, and FXPB product lines. Based in Singapore, you will be responsible for developing and executing a sales strategy to capture opportunities across Asia, covering all global markets. You will act as a strategic partner to our clients, leveraging your deep subject matter expertise and the full breadth of the Citi franchise to deliver exceptional value and solidify our position as a market leader.

Key Responsibilities

Client Origination & Relationship Management:

  • Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to originate new client relationships and maximize revenue opportunities across the APAC region.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for new business origination across a portfolio of clients, cultivating deep, advisory relationships by understanding their structure, strategies, and service requirements.
  • Drive client satisfaction by ensuring performing regular client reviews and acting as the first point of escalation for any concerns.
  • Master the client's wallet to drive growth and identify strategic cross-selling opportunities, across the Citi Markets Franchise by leveraging key global relationships across FX, Rates, Commodities, and all Global Markets Products.

Strategic Business Growth:

  • Drive the continuous enhancement of Citi's product and service offerings across the Futures and Prime franchise based on client feedback and market intelligence.
  • Manage all financial aspects of the business, including interest income, balance sheet usage, RWA, and working capital costs, with a focus on effective margin management across CCPs.
  • Represent Citi in key industry engagements with external stakeholders such as CCPs, trade organizations, exchanges, and vendors to enhance our market presence.

Governance & Risk Management:

  • Act as the first line of defense for risk management, ensuring timely escalation and resolution of issues.
  • Work in close partnership with control functions (Legal, Compliance, Risk, Audit) to maintain a robust governance and control infrastructure.
  • Champion a culture of responsible finance, good governance, expense discipline, and uncompromising ethics.

Ideal Candidate Profile

Knowledge & Experience:

  • Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in a client-facing sales or relationship management role within financial services.
  • Deep subject matter expertise in Futures, OTC Clearing, and/or FXPB is essential.
  • Broad cross-product knowledge covering equities, fixed income, FX, derivatives, and electronic trading.
  • A strong understanding of the global regulatory landscape, risk management principles, and control environments impacting the prime brokerage business.
  • Familiarity with the IT infrastructure and platforms that support financing products.

  • A self-motivated and results-oriented individual with a demonstrated track record of originating new business and exceeding revenue targets.
  • Superior written and verbal communication skills, with the confidence to lead discussions and negotiations with sophisticated clients.
  • Advanced analytical skills with the ability to break down complex problems and develop innovative client solutions.
  • A commitment to delivering a best-in-class service to a demanding global client base, with a keen attention to detail.
  • The ability to multitask, manage competing priorities, and maintain a steep learning curve in a fast-paced, evolving market environment.

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is required.
