Primary/Specialized Sales Representative.
About the opportunity:
Develop and maintain strong, value-driven relationships with healthcare professionals in Primary Care, including Nursing Directors, Coordinators, and Practice Nurses. Promote Ascensia Diabetes Care solutions through our portfolio of products and services to support better diabetes management.
Drive sales growth and market share by effectively executing national and regional strategies. Collaborate closely with Specialized Care Representatives and the Area Manager/KSL to achieve regional account objectives.

What you will be doing:
- Plan, organize, and conduct visits to healthcare professionals in Primary Care to present and promote Ascensia products in line with marketing and sales objectives.
- Identify and engage Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) with local influence, aligning action plans with the Area Manager.
- Deliver educational and clinical sessions to communicate product benefits and encourage adoption.
- Manage and optimize promotional materials (digital and print), ensuring effective and compliant use of e-detailing tools.
- Plan efficient daily routes to ensure full and balanced coverage of the assigned territory.
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date CRM data on healthcare professionals and accounts.
- Monitor product usage and market trends through ongoing contact with healthcare professionals and pharmacies.
- Identify and address barriers to product use, collecting customer feedback to support continuous improvement.
- Stay informed about competitor activity and share relevant insights with the Area Manager.
- Maintain strong and current knowledge of products, competitors, diabetes care, and market trends through ongoing training.
- Complete all required reports, expense submissions, and administrative tasks accurately and on time.
- Adhere to Ascensia’s Code of Ethics, Good Practice Policy, and relevant industry standards (Farmaindustria, Fenin).
What you need for success:
- University degree in Life Sciences or a related field, or 2+ years of experience in a similar role.
- Proven sales, negotiation, and communication skills, with the ability to build strong, trust-based relationships.
- Experience in Primary Care sales and understanding of the diabetes or self-monitoring market are highly desirable.
- Analytical, proactive, and solutions-oriented, with strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Highly organized and detail-focused, with excellent time management and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Effective team player, capable of collaborating across functions and adapting to dynamic environments.
- Innovative and customer-focused, committed to continuous learning and professional development.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
- Advanced English skills preferred.
- Valid clean B1 driving licence.
