Primary Care Physician (Per Diem)

CenterWell Primary Care is looking for an as-needed basis primary care physician for the Villages FL. This is a zero-hour contracted role, ideal for providers looking for flexible scheduling while contributing to high-quality outpatient care. The Physician will manage a variety of health-related concerns, focusing on continuity of care, health maintenance, and disease prevention.

Required Qualifications:

  • Graduate of an accredited MD or DO program.
  • Active medical license in the state of jurisdiction.
  • Board Certification in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Geriatric Medicine.
  • Preference for care experience, or at least 2 years of caring for Geriatric patients with high acuities.
  • Must be passionate about improving patient experiences and outcomes.
  • Requires participation in Humana/Senior Bridge's Tuberculosis (TB) screening program.

  • Responsibilities Include:
    • Provide outpatient primary care services to adult and geriatric populations onsite in the Villages FL.
    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical histories and records.
    • Manage moderately complex to complex medical conditions.
    • Refer patients to specialists when appropriate.
    • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care.
    • Contribute to departmental strategy and quality improvement initiatives.

Pay Range

The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.


 

$310,000 - $368,500 per year
