Job Description
We are looking for a detail‑oriented Pricing Process Lead to support the operational rollout and ongoing refinement of new pricing methodologies, tools, and ways of working across the EMEA region. This role centers on mapping current (“as‑is”) processes, roles, and data flows that impact pricing; identifying and documenting required changes (“to-be”); coordinating with cross‑functional and cross‑country stakeholders to implement updates; and monitoring adoption to ensure changes are embedded effectively.
The ideal candidate brings a strong process mindset (systemic view), solid documentation skills, and the ability to work confidently with diverse teams. You are comfortable challenging existing routines, guiding teams through change, and ensuring that new pricing processes are clearly understood, consistently applied, and kept up to date as new systems and methodologies go live.
Job Responsibilities:
The role holder will be expected to be responsible for the following:
- Map existing (“as‑is”) processes, workflows, roles, and data flows that impact pricing, to create a clear operational baseline.
- Identify process gaps, inefficiencies, and required changes as new pricing methodologies, tools, and governance frameworks are introduced.
- Conduct impact assessments and gap analyses to understand how upcoming changes will affect countries, teams, systems, and users.
- Partner with cross‑functional stakeholders (Technology, Business Intelligence, Finance, Marketing, Sales, and Country teams) to gather requirements and validate proposed process changes.
- Design updated (“to‑be”) processes, ensuring clarity, accuracy, and alignment with pricing transformation objectives.
- Assist in implementing new processes by preparing documentation, process maps, standard operating procedures, and training materials.
- Maintain updated process documentation and contribute to a structured inventory of pricing procedures, data flows, and operational guidelines.
- Identify risks, issues, or resistance related to process changes and coordinate mitigation actions.
- Monitor and follow up on the execution of process changes, tracking adoption, compliance, and performance metrics.
This role is extremely varied; therefore, the job description is not exhaustive and the role holder will be required to participate in other duties as required by the business.
Job Skills & Experience Required:
To succeed in this role, you will need the following:
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, Operations, Engineering, or a related field.
- Additional training or certification in change management (Prosci, CCMP) is an advantage.
- Fluent in English, other European languages are an advantage (particularly German).
Experience:
- 4+ years of experience in process analysis, business analysis, operations improvement, or a related role.
- Experience mapping and documenting business processes and workflows using tools such as Visio, Lucidchart, or similar.
- Demonstrated ability to identify bottlenecks, and propose improvements.
- Hands‑on experience supporting implementation of process changes, comfortable working in cross-functional and cross-country environments with multiple stakeholders.
- Experience working with Jira and ERPs are an advantage.
Person Specification:
We believe the type of person best suited to this role will be:
- Highly analytical, structured, and detail‑oriented, with an ability to understand systemic impacts.
- Persistent and proactive in driving follow‑through, ensuring commitments are met even in a cross‑functional, multi‑country environment.
- Comfortable managing multiple tasks, timelines, and workflows simultaneously.
- An effective communicator able to document and explain processes in a clear and simple way.
