Pricing Analyst

Aguascalientes, Mexico Full time
The Pricing Analyst is responsible for providing support to the sales, pricing and category management team. They will oversee and manage various tasks assigned to achieve objectives in sales and customer satisfaction.

General Responsibilities:
• Key participant in preparation of price analysis for management analyses
• Work closely with sales to develop customer quotations
• Key participant in uploading price change files
• Validate price files
• Collaborate on market research
• Gather and summarize data from multiple sources to complete reports & special projects
• Organize internal databases to ensure integrity within the system
• Collaborate on pulling Point of Sale Data
• Compile sales & other reports
• Maintain monthly/quarterly price scrape data
• General administrative duties

Experience / Qualifications
• A university degree required (i.e. Bachelors degree) or equivalent relevant work experience.
• Must be a team player able to work in a fast-paced environment with demonstrated ability to handle multiple competing tasks and demands
• Strong communication skills; oral, written and presentation
• Strong organization, planning and time management skills to achieve results
• Strong personal and professional ethical values and integrity
• Holds self-accountable to achieving goals and standards
• Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)
• Strong interpersonal & collaboration skills to work effectively with all levels of the organization including suppliers and/or external customers

Additional Responsibilities

  • Track, analyze, and report on metals pricing indices and market fluctuations, assessing the impact of commodity volatility on product pricing, margins, and revenue performance.
  • Prepare recurring and ad‑hoc pricing and RMI reports, translating complex pricing data, trends, and variances into clear written summaries and visual presentations to support decision‑making.
  • Monitor pricing, sales activity, and market positioning, with a focus on price movement, surcharge adjustments, and competitive response to metals market changes.
  • Analyze pricing metrics to identify cause‑and‑effect relationships between metals cost fluctuations, pricing actions, and sales performance, flagging risks and opportunities.
  • Collaborate cross‑functionally with Sales, Marketing, and Finance teams to ensure pricing updates reflect current market conditions and that the sales team is aligned with approved pricing changes and guidelines.
  • Support the maintenance of pricing documentation, models, and update trackers, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and timely communication of price adjustments.
