Position Summary:

Provide project management, leadership and coordination in documenting compliance with prevailing wage and apprenticeship tax credit requirements for clean energy projects. Responsible for overall project scope, schedule, cost and risk management. Leads internal and external resources to achieve required project scope, develops strategic sequencing and detailed milestone schedules, project-level tracking and documentation. Responsible for leading projects through all internal and external processes. Ensures availability or seeks out adequate resources.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Project Planning and Management: Define deliverables and required delivery dates. Prepare and produce project management reports, timelines, and documentation as guided by project requirements. Independently manage and build project plan deliverables. Provide tracking of project plans. Identify plan gaps and develop closure plans. Ensure the successful completion of project deliverables & milestones in a dynamic/complex environment.
  • Resource Management: Manage resources, both internal and external to ensure alignment on project deliverables and timelines. Facilitate meetings and other communications as necessary to ensure compliance with project requirements.
  • Process Management: Lead initiatives that enable business and project outcomes. Continuously improve workflows in alignment with Company and agile methodologies. Ensure process documentation is complete and accurate.
  • Assist with data review, analysis, and development of strategies to resolve identified issues. Facilitate actions consistent with resolution strategy and Internal Revenue Service requirements.
  • Scope & Risk Management: Manage project scope change process. Identify risks and issues throughout the project lifecycle steps and assist in creation and execution of mitigation strategies and contingency plans.
  • Relationship Management: Communicate project status to all levels of the organization. Establish effective, collaborative working relationships to maximize project efficiency, responsiveness and resource allocation.


Minimum Requirements
 

  • Minimum 5 years work experience in operations, technology, finance, payroll or comparable function with 3 -5 years' experience in project management and process improvement; some formal project management training preferred.
  • BS Business, Finance, Accounting, Information Technology, Construction Management or related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and influence others.
  • Demonstrated accountability and strong facilitation skills; excellent written/verbal communications skills required.
  • Ability to adapt to changing business processes and industry trends and ability to work within a diverse, cross-functional team environment.
  • Vendor management experience preferred.

Non-Bargaining

The anticipated starting base pay for this position is: $84,900.00 to $120,566.66 per year
