Job Summary: This position is located at Bureau of Engraving and Printing, within the Electro-Machinist Division WCF. As a Pressman Supervisor, you will be responsible supervising through subordinate assistant supervisors a three shift, five day per week, highly sophisticated security printing operation(s). When designated, you will represent the OCM on special committees to improve operations and when needed, supervise in the absence of the Offset/Letterpress Operations Manager, OCM.
Major Duties:
Qualifications: You must meet the following requirements by the closing date of this announcement. You must meet the screen-out element Ability to Supervise Through Subordinate Supervisors, normally addressed at the beginning of the online questions. To meet the screen-out element, applicants must have: I have the ability to perform common Pressman Supervisor duties. I have had the equivalent of four years of experience as a Pressperson (Journeyman). I have experience performing administrative duties as an Assistant Supervisor, including assigning priorities, delegating responsibility, and assisting with the training of new employees. I ensure that proper methods and work procedures for currency production are followed and that all safety, security, and accountability procedures are adhered to. In addition, you must also obtain an average score of two (2) for the following elements for this position as addressed through the online question in order to be considered minimally qualified.
