Job Description Summary

The President, Advanced Visualization Solutions (AVS) – USCAN leads the full commercial, portfolio, and value‑creation strategy for GE HealthCare’s AVS business across the United States and Canada, inclusive of hardware, software, and digital solutions, with a clear mandate to accelerate growth and recurring‑revenue models.

This role is an enterprise‑level general management and commercial leadership position, accountable for orders, revenue, pricing, margin accretion, cash, market share, and customer impact across USCAN. The President is a core member of the USCAN Region Leadership Team and an extended member of the Global AVS Segment Leadership Team, operating effectively within a shared‑ownership, matrixed model.

The role owns USCAN AVS segmentation, value proposition development, go‑to‑market design, commercial execution, and operating rigor across lifecycle, NPI, and digital solutions, and serves as the primary voice of the USCAN market into global AVS strategy, investment, and prioritization decisions.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities

Portfolio Strategy, Digital Solutions & Market Leadership

  • Lead USCAN AVS portfolio strategy with one integrated regional approach across capital, software, and digital solutions
  • Own segmentation, specialization, and value‑creation strategies driving orders, win rate, pricing discipline, market share, and margin accretion
  • Serve as the USCAN market voice to Global AVS sub‑segments, influencing product roadmaps, lifecycle decisions, and long‑range plans
  • Lead USCAN AVS input and alignment for World Wide Product Planning (WWPP) and Long‑Term Strategy (LTS)
  • Drive AVS digital solutions strategy and execution in support of recurring‑revenue growth, workflow integration, and enterprise customer value

Commercial Activation, Operating Rigor & Sales Strategy

  • Translate strategy into clear sales priorities, coverage models, and execution rigor across Regions and Channels
  • Define and activate sales strategy across NPI launches, lifecycle management, pricing, and promotional effectiveness
  • Lead AVS operating mechanisms tied to USCAN execution, including revenue pacing, demand management, forecasting interlocks, and strategic deal governance
  • Support strategic AVS customer engagements and national deals through differentiated value propositions and executive engagement

Go‑to‑Market, Marketing & Customer Experience

  • Design and refine the AVS go‑to‑market model in partnership with Regions, Key Accounts, Channels, and Global AVS
  • Own USCAN AVS marketing strategy and activation, including positioning, messaging, campaigns, and launch excellence aligned to portfolio and digital priorities
  • Leverage customer insights, VOC, clinical evidence, and data to improve customer experience and competitive differentiation

Clinical Applications, Capability & Talent Enablement

  • Own USCAN AVS Clinical Applications strategy and performance, ensuring clinical differentiation, adoption, and customer value realization
  • Own learning and development strategy for AVS across sales, clinical, and leadership populations to build sustainable capability and execution excellence

Cross‑Functional Leadership & Enterprise Influence

  • Collaborate across Sales, Marketing, Clinical Applications, Service, Commercial Operations, Finance, HR, and Digital
  • Drive adoption of standard work, operating rigor, and compliance across AVS within a shared USCAN–Global Segment ownership construct
  • Influence enterprise‑level operating model, governance forums, GTM design, and investment decisions related to AVS and digital growth

People Leadership & Culture

  • Build and lead a high‑performing AVS USCAN leadership team with strong accountability, inclusion, and succession depth
  • Develop talent pipelines and future leaders across commercial, clinical, and functional roles
  • Role‑model GE HealthCare leadership behaviors, enterprise mindset, and ethical standards

Required Qualifications

  • 15+ years of progressive leadership experience across commercial, product, and/or general management roles
  • Demonstrated success leading large, complex, matrixed businesses with shared P&L or equivalent commercial accountability
  • Proven ability to translate strategy into disciplined field execution through strong partnership with sales, marketing, and clinical leadership
  • Executive presence with the ability to engage C‑suite customers and enterprise leaders
  • Experience operating effectively in global, matrixed organizations

Desired Qualifications

  • Deep understanding of advanced visualization, digital solutions, and software‑enabled clinical workflows
  • Track record of influencing global product roadmaps, portfolio trade‑offs, and investment decisions
  • Experience leading recurring‑revenue, SaaS, or subscription‑based healthcare solutions
  • MedTech or Healthcare industry experience

We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job opening. For U.S. based positions only, the pay range for this position is $288,000.00-$432,000.00 Annual. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the pay range and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. The specific compensation offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including skills, qualifications, experience and location. In addition, this position may also be eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI).
