We’re seeking an entry‑level freelancer to rebrand existing PowerPoint slide decks in alignment with our company brand standards and accessibility guidelines. You’ll work closely with our instructional designer, modernizing slide masters and layouts, standardizing visuals, and ensuring every deck meets accessibility best practices. The ideal candidate is detail‑oriented, independent, and comfortable collaborating asynchronously with clear weekly checkpoints on Microsoft Teams.
Job Responsibilities:
- Rebrand slide decks: Update layouts, typography, colors, imagery, spacing and iconography to align with current brand standards and design system.
- Work with slide masters and apply theme settings.
- Standardize headings, content, bullets, spacing, and captions; remove outdated assets; ensure consistent table and chart styling.
- File management: Use standardized naming convention for files; store and share deliverables via OneDrive/SharePoint.
- Communication: Attend a weekly status meeting via Teams; provide concise progress updates, risks, and next‑week priorities; respond to messages within agreed upon timeframe.
- Practices proper safety techniques in accordance with Center and departmental policies and procedures. Responsible for the reporting of employee/patient/visitor injuries or accidents, or other safety issues to the supervisor and in the occurrence notification system. (Required for all Positions)
- Monitors and ensures compliance with all regulatory requirements, organizational standards, and policies and procedures related to area of responsibility. Identifies potential risk areas within area of responsibility and supports problem resolution process. (Required for all Positions)
Required Minimum Education:
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Required Minimum Certification:
No professional certifications required.
Required Minimum Experience:
- 1–2 years of experience working with Microsoft PowerPoint in a professional or academic setting.
- Demonstrated ability to create and modify slide masters, themes, and templates.
- Basic understanding of accessibility principles for digital content (e.g., alt text, reading order, color contrast).
- Prior experience completing detail‑oriented tasks independently with minimal supervision.
- Familiarity with remote collaboration tools (Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, or similar).
Required Minimum Skills:
- Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint (layouts, slide masters, themes, templates).
- Strong attention to detail with a methodical approach to consistency and quality assurance.
- Ability to work independently, manage time, and meet weekly milestones.
- Ability to accept constructive feedback and make necessary project revisions accordingly.
- Clear communication skills and experience with remote collaboration (Microsoft Teams, SharePoint/OneDrive).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior work rebranding PPT decks against a corporate brand system.
- Experience in healthcare or education contexts.
- Basic image editing in PowerPoint.
- Bachelor's degree
