Job Summary
This role is responsible for driving client retention through upselling and cross-selling and sharing technical insights for product improvement. The consultant creates proposals and designs customized solutions using in-depth product and industry knowledge. A strong focus will be placed on Digital Employee Experience (DEX) tools, automation platforms, telemetry software and IT security solutions to optimize IT operations and enhance end-user productivity. The role leverages data-driven insights to design sales strategies, mentors junior team members, and partners with external entities while ensuring compliance with company policies to boost revenue growth and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
Demonstrates a deep understanding of the organization's software portfolio, including DEX tools, automation frameworks, telemetry solutions, and IT security offerings as well as industry trends to effectively position offerings and articulate their value to potential clients.
Engages with clients to design customized software solutions for their unique business needs in collaboration with product experts and engineers.
Prepares tailored proposals and quotes for clients, including pricing, terms, and contract details to drive revenue growth for the organization.
Focuses on client retention efforts by identifying opportunities for upselling or cross-selling additional software products or services to existing clients.
Utilizes data analytics and telemetry insights to understand customer behavior, IT performance, and digital experience metrics, supporting the development of proactive sales strategies.
Collaborates with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product development, and customer support, to ensure seamless customer experiences and successful solution adoption.
Gathers and relays feedback from clients to internal teams to help refine existing offerings and guide the development of new features, particularly in automation and DEX optimization.
Partners with external technology vendors and integrators to enhance solution capabilities and deliver maximum value to clients.
Stays informed about industry-specific regulations and compliance requirements that may impact software deployment and sales activities, ensuring all engagements are compliant.
Education & Experience Recommended
Preferred Certifications
ITIL, Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect, AWS Certified Solutions Architect.
Security-related certifications such as CompTIA Security+, CISSP, or Microsoft Cybersecurity Architect.
Certifications in DEX platforms and automation tools (e.g., WXP, Nexthink, Lakeside, ServiceNow).
Knowledge & Skills
Strong understanding of Digital Employee Experience (DEX) platforms, IT automation, telemetry, and cybersecurity principles.
Familiarity with SaaS, cloud computing, virtualization, endpoint security, and enterprise IT management solutions.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate technical and security concepts to non-technical audiences.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with strategic thinking ability.
Language Requirements
English: Must be at a strong level equivalent to CEFR C1 or higher (fluent in business context with clear pronunciation).
German: Preferred but not mandatory.
