Assists the Premium Manager in the planning and execution of service in premium locations including suites, table & bar service, and outdoor patios and picnic areas. Directly supervises all Premium department staff assigned to their sections.
Responsibilities:
Receive and understand assigned Banquet Event Orders (BEO) and various menus, while independently leading your team to execute the required set-up, service, closing, and clean-up duties necessary to operate a premium service area.
Ensure high and consistent food qualities through both premium-level presentation and rigorous food safety practices.
Complete periodic walks of service area throughout the event to ensure a high level of guest service, as well as actively supervise the staff assigned to your area
Communicate with VIPs and points of contact for large parties, understanding their needs and executing unique, complicated BEOs.
Coordinate with kitchen and warehouse staff to ensure requisitions in/out of your assigned service area are completed fully and in a timely manner
Troubleshoot staff difficulties with basic food service equipment including point-of-sale terminals, chafers, burners, heating lamps, etc.
Ensure accurate inventory though execution of department inventory controls, to include proper documentation, pre- and post-shift counts, and non-event day complete counts.
Report and document hazardous conditions or unsafe practices within the work environment to Premium Manager or Human Resources
Lead assigned section in maintaining high standards of sanitation and cleanliness, in accordance with Colorado and local health department regulations
Assist Legends management with training, safety, sanitation, and accident prevention controls within assigned premium service area.
Qualifications:
2-3 years in premium food service, catering, or fine dining, including experience in a supervisory or lead position. Food service industry and/or work at an entertainment venue preferred.
High school degree or GED equivalent
TEAM Alcohol Server certification, or ability to complete training (offered at new hire orientation).
Must demonstrate leadership skills in a team environment, including conflict resolution between guests, employees, and partner company staff
Willingness to work in an outdoor stadium subject to adversarial weather (ex. freezing temperatures, rain, sleet, snow & hot, mid-summer days)
Must be flexible to work extended hours due to business requirements, including late nights, weekends, and holidays
Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to multi-task and prioritize in a deadline-oriented environment
Strong commitment to delivering a high level of customer and client service with demonstrated initiative, leadership, and management skills
Customer service oriented with the ability to interact with all levels of management
Adhere to company guidelines for appearance and uniform standards
High level of attention to detail and organization
This position requires substantial daily activity including standing for 8+ hours, walking 20,000+ steps, lifting up to 50+ pounds, and manual dexterity to operate office equipment such as a computer is required.
Must have a working email to communicate with the Concessions and Legends management teams.
