The Premium Allocation Specialist is responsible for ensuring that premium payments on different billing modes and methods are in place by the time the premium is due to keep the policy Inforce and review reinstatement application forms for lapse policies. The specialist has working knowledge to proficient product knowledge on basic work types and reports to Manager, Client Services.
Position Responsibilities:
Review, analyze, interpret, and validate non-complex billing and/or commission work.
Capture applicable data, calculate, prepare, and complete accounting including journal entries.
Summarize, adjust, and balance client premium statements and payments using Excel.
Allocate client premium payments accurately in administration systems.
Support suspense management and financial reporting processes.
Validate premiums for client renewals.
Reconcile financial statements to the ASO Billing system.
Collaborate with clients, underwriters, RGOs, and internal teams to resolve billing/payment issues.
Handle non-complex inquiries from clients and internal departments.
Meet productivity and quality service standards.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or related field.
Preferred Qualifications:
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to understand and act on problem statements.
Proficient in composing clear, concise emails.
Good problem-solving and organizational skills.
Typing speed of at least 35 WPM.
Attention to detail and time management.
Spreadsheet skills are an asset.

Salary range is expected to be between
