Job Overview
The PM Team Leader provides guidance and support to his/her Preliminary Match Coordinator team. He/she provides periodic reviews of donor statuses and files for his/ her team to insure quality customer service and procedures are being followed. The Preliminary Match Team Leader receives and manages preliminary match donors transferred in from other donor centers and manages preliminary match donors requested to participate on clinical trials. In addition, the PM Team Leader shall monitor the performance of the team and work with the Donor Quality manger on performance improvement projects and goals to assist the donor center in reaching the goals set by the National Marrow Donor Program. The PM Team Leader shall support his/her team in providing excellent customer service to our donors as well as to the National Marrow Donor Program. These functions are performed in accordance with the philosophy, policies, procedures, and standards of Georgetown University.
Work Interactions
Communicates via telephone, email, fax, letters, and in face-to-face interactions with donor center staff, donors, military and civilian laboratory staff, and National Marrow Donor Program staff. Will serve to resolve problems and insure high customer service to all entities served.
Requirements and Qualifications
Minimum requirement of Bachelor’s degree in nursing or health-related field preferred
1-2 years combination of work and educational experience in health related field preferred
Applicable job experience may be substituted for minimum academic qualifications
Computer experience with word processing, advance oral and written communication skills, and strong interpersonal skills.
Good computer skills and advanced organizational, interpersonal, oral and written communication skills
Ability to work with colleagues and donors of diverse backgrounds and attention to detail

Pay Range:
The projected salary or hourly pay range for this position which represents the full range of anticipated compensation is:
$41,926.00 - $65,090.00Compensation is determined by a number of factors including, but not limited to, the candidate’s individual qualifications, experience, education, skills, and certifications, as well as the University’s business needs and external factors.
