Job Summary
We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated individual for the position of Preinstall Program Manager. You will be integral to our collaborative efforts with diverse functional teams and Original Design Manufacturers (ODMs) to orchestrate the successful development of OS Image builds for various platforms. Proficiency in basic scripting and debugging, particularly within Advanced Operating Systems (AOS), Windows, and ARM-based operating systems, may be required. Acts as a Preinstall Program Manager is strong communication skills, flexibility to handle changes and uncertainties, quick response to unexpected challenges, as well as a keen ability to innovate.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate seamlessly with different functional teams to oversee and facilitate the development and execution of OS Image builds across diverse platforms.

  • Establish and maintain effective communication channels with ODMs, ensuring clear articulation of project requirements, timelines, and technical specifications.

  • Apply basic scripting and debugging skills to troubleshoot and optimize OS Image builds, focusing on Windows, AOS, and ARM-based systems.

  • Take ownership of project milestones, ensuring timely delivery while upholding high-quality standards.

  • Innovate and contribute to the improvement of OS Image build processes, bringing creative thinking to the forefront.

  • Demonstrate proficiency in both written and spoken English, enabling effective communication within the team and with external partners.

  • Proactively identify and address potential challenges, driving towards efficient and effective solutions.

  • Cultivate a collaborative and dynamic work environment that encourages creativity and problem-solving.



Education & Experience Recommended

  • Typically 4+ years experiences and familiar in building operating system images with Windows, AOS and or ARM systems.

  • Proficient scripting and debugging skills, enabling effective troubleshooting and optimization of OS Images.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with fluency in both written and spoken English.

  • Proven ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and external partners to achieve project objectives.

  • Innovative thinking and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

  • Capacity to thrive in a fast-paced work environment, managing multiple tasks concurrently.

  • Demonstrated ownership of projects, consistently delivering results within specified timelines.

  • Flexibility and adaptability to navigate evolving project requirements and challenges.
