About the Role:
As a Senior Technical Solution Consultant for Core Banking, you will apply deep technical expertise to design, validate, and position scalable, high‑performing banking solutions. You will support sales teams by showcasing technical capabilities, integrations, deployment options, and architectural strengths of the FIS platform.
What You'll Do:
Lead technical discovery sessions with deep dive into integration points, infrastructure, security, and data flows.
Build, configure, and deliver hands‑on technical demos, including:
API calls
Integration flows
Cloud deployment scenarios
Performance and resilience demonstrations
Develop and customize technical demo environments, sample integrations, and mock banking scenarios.
Design end‑to‑end architecture diagrams including systems, integration paths, deployment models, and cloud/container topology.
Own technical RFI/RFP response, ensuring architectural accuracy and practical feasibility.
Lead technical PoCs by setting up environments, building integrations, configuring APIs, and solving real-world banking use cases.
Advise customers on modernization paths including microservices, cloud-native architecture, event-driven design, and DevOps practices.
Work closely with Product, Engineering, and Professional Services to ensure proposed solutions are implementable.
What You'll Need:
8+ years in technical presales, solution architecture, or engineering roles within Core Banking or Financial Services.
Strong experience with hands‑on technical work, including API testing, integration setup, environment configuration, or cloud deployments.
Technical experience with:
REST APIs, JSON, Postman/Swagger
Microservices & integration patterns
Cloud (AWS/Azure/GCP)
Containers (Docker, Kubernetes)
Performance, resilience, HA/DR design
Proven experience delivering live technical demos and proofs‑of‑concept.
Ability to simplify complex architecture for both technical and business audiences.
Strong English communication skills.
