Pre-Analytical Services Associate

We are seeking a Pre-Analytical Services Associate to join IQVIA Laboratories at Valencia, CA.

In this role, you will assist with routine activities related to Primary and Secondary QC of requisitions in TOPCAT and QLIMS, as well as QC of LTMS requisitions within Teleform Verifier, ensuring accuracy and compliance throughout the specimen processing workflow.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Ensure competency within the role and full understanding of processes.
  • Collect requisitions from accessioners and sort by platform and temperature.
  • Verify scanners are operational and scan requisitions under correct categories in Teleform Remote Capture.
  • Perform 100% demographic QC on all requisitions and maintain daily counts in Metrics.
  • Respond to email correspondences and support LRMS ticket requests; raise IT tickets for system issues.
  • Archive requisitions monthly and assist with receipt and opening of consignments and shipments.
  • Conduct secondary checks of shipping materials to ensure specimens are not left in kit packaging.
  • Assist with equipment maintenance, supply inventory, and workstation cleanup while following safety procedures.

What We Are Looking For:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Basic computer skills and ability to maintain effective reporting procedures.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills with ability to work collaboratively.
  • Other Equivalent combination of education, training, and experience may be accepted in lieu of degree.

The Knowledge, Skills and Abilities needed for this role:

  • Familiarity with specimen handling, QC processes, and data entry systems (TOPCAT, QLIMS, Teleform).
  • Ability to troubleshoot IT/system issues and follow SOPs accurately.
  • Strong attention to detail and time management in a fast-paced environment.
  • Effective interpersonal skills and ability to maintain workflow under deadlines.

The potential base pay range for this role, when annualized, is $24,400.00 - $50,900.00. The actual base pay offered may vary based on a number of factors including job-related qualifications such as knowledge, skills, education, and experience; location; and/or schedule (full or part-time). Dependent on the position offered, incentive plans, bonuses, and/or other forms of compensation may be offered, in addition to a range of health and welfare and/or other benefits.
