We are seeking a highly organized, proactive, and experienced Dental Practice Lead to join our specialty dental office. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a leadership position while remaining hands-on with administrative operations. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day functioning of the practice, supporting both clinical and administrative teams, and delivering an exceptional patient experience.

Schedule:   

  Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm

The wage for this Practice Lead position is $33-$37/hour depending on skills, experience, and location. 

Please note that this is a new / replacement job opening. 

Your Role: 

• Lead, coach, and support the dental administrative team to drive productivity, engagement, and patient retention 
• Coordinate effective communication between front and back-office teams 
• Assist the Practice Manager with training, development, and daily delegation of the administrative team 
• Manage patient concerns and conflicts, escalating to the Practice Manager as needed 
• Oversee and optimize appointment scheduling to meet daily production goals with minimal open chair time 
• Ensure pre-authorizations, appointment confirmations, and cancellation prevention processes are completed in advance 
• Engage new patients before and after their first visit to deliver a positive and consistent patient experience 

About You: 

• Minimum 3-5 years of Dental Administration experience is required 
• Leadership experience is considered an asset 
• Clinical background and experience with dental software programs is required
