Compensation includes a base salary of $175,300.00 - $292,100.00. The base salary may vary within the anticipated base pay range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate’s knowledge, skills, and abilities. Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include an incentive program.

We’re seeking a visionary and execution-focused Director to lead a portfolio of strategic consulting practices, including Cloud Readiness and Business Case Development, Cloud Operating Model and Governance, and the Transformation Management Office and Change Management. This leader will guide clients from strategy through execution, architect scalable operating models, and drive enterprise-wide change. The role includes managing a high-performing consulting team and requires up to 50 percent travel.

Key Responsibilities

Practice Leadership and Development

  • Define and evolve service offerings across cloud strategy, governance, and transformation enablement
  • Build reusable frameworks, accelerators, and maturity models for client delivery
  • Recruit, mentor, and lead a team of consultants and program managers, providing ongoing coaching and performance management

Client Strategy and Delivery

  • Lead readiness assessments, business case modeling, and migration planning
  • Design cloud operating models, governance structures, and decision rights frameworks
  • Stand up and lead Transformation Management Offices for large-scale initiatives
  • Drive stakeholder alignment, change management, and adoption strategies

Cross Functional Collaboration

  • Partner with Sales, Product, and Engineering to align consulting offerings with client needs
  • Support go to market efforts with thought leadership, client briefings, and proposal development
  • Ensure consistent delivery quality and measurable business outcomes

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline and 10 years of experience in a related field such as cloud consulting, IT finance, or enterprise architecture
  • The right candidate could also have a different combination, such as a master’s degree and 8 years of experience; a PhD and 5 years of experience in a related field; or 14 years of experience in a related field
  • At least 5 years of experience leading teams in a management or leadership role, including direct people management, coaching, and performance management
  • Experience leading teams, including mentoring, performance management, and developing consulting talent
  • Proven success managing multi practice teams and complex client engagements
  • Deep expertise in cloud readiness, operating model design, and change enablement
  • Strong executive presence with the ability to influence C level stakeholders
  • Ability to travel up to 50 percent
