POSITION SPECIFICS
Penn State DuBois is currently seeking candidates for a full-time Practical Nursing Program Coordinator. The position will have dual reporting to the statewide PN Program Director and Penn State DuBois Director of Continuing Education.
The Practical Nursing Program Coordinator will be responsible for assisting in the development, implementation, delivery, and evaluation of the evening and weekend Practical Nursing Program for Penn State DuBois. The coordinator is responsible for ensuring the proper implementation of all instructional materials and directing all educational planning activities to guarantee compliance with program standards. Other responsibilities include part-time instruction per module, development and coordination of the instructional plan schedule including clinical experiences. Assists in recruiting and retaining students, preparing and monitoring program budget, maintaining student records, and contributing to curriculum development. Provides or directs student counseling and support services as needed. In conjunction with the Practical Nursing Program Director, the coordinator holds responsibility for conducting program, student, faculty, and staff evaluations. The coordinator also assists in providing supervision and serving as a resource for PN instructors, as well as serving as liaison with clinical sites and the community.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or a related field is required
Due to State Board of Nursing requirements, preference will be given to candidates with a master's degree or who show evidence of completing work toward a master's degree.
Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in Pennsylvania required.
Related experience in nursing and nursing education required.
Educational administration experience preferred.

SALARY & BENEFITS
The salary range for this position, including all possible grades, is $51,000.00 - $81,500.00.
