About the Role
In this role, you will develop, remediate, copyedit, and maintain written content for US Practical Guidance.
Responsibilities
Design, own, and execute the content maintenance strategy for the U.S. Business Entities practice area.
Conduct legal research and perform editorial work to update and maintain existing Practical Guidance content.
Monitor legal developments and maintain ongoing awareness of changes in applicable laws.
Draft, review, and update Practical Guidance materials, including templates, practice notes, and checklists.
Lead and deliver Practical Guidance content remediation initiatives aimed at enhancing the customer experience.
Develop a strong understanding of editorial workflows and style guidelines, and consistently apply and enforce best practices.
Enhance operational efficiency by standardizing and streamlining processes, creating clear documentation, and recommending continuous improvements to editorial workflows.
Consistently meet or exceed established production and quality standards.
Participate in required training and undertake additional responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications
Bachelor of Laws (LLB) or equivalent legal qualification, admission as an attorney, and a minimum of two years’ post-qualification legal practice experience.
Excellent command of the English language, with strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
Excellent interpersonal skills, including clear written and oral communication, a positive attitude, and a professional demeanor when engaging routinely with geographically diverse authors, colleagues, and customers.
Strong organizational skills; self-motivated with demonstrated initiative and a growth mindset.
Proven ability to prioritize and multitask in order to meet critical deadlines, with flexibility to adapt to changing business demands.
Strong technical aptitude with a demonstrated interest in Generative AI technologies.
Proficient in the Microsoft Office suite, particularly Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and Copilot.
