Join the Practical Engineers team at Intel Kiryat Gat, where next-generation processors are manufactured.

We are looking for a Practical Engineering student to join our advanced semiconductor manufacturing facility. This role offers hands-on experience in a high-volume, cutting-edge fabrication environment, participation in real manufacturing processes, and exposure to Intel’s world-class production technologies, quality standards, and safety culture.

This position is designed to support a balance between academic studies and professional development, while building technical, analytical, and practical skills relevant to semiconductor manufacturing.

What will you do?

  • Operate and support advanced semiconductor manufacturing equipment

  • Gain hands-on experience with state-of-the-art systems, including RF systems, gas systems, pneumatics, and robotics

  • Learn and perform preventive maintenance and basic troubleshooting on advanced semiconductor equipment

  • Work closely with engineering teams to understand processes and assist in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve operational efficiency, maintenance procedures, and quality

  • Follow written specifications, procedures, and work instructions as part of daily manufacturing activities

Qualifications:

What are we looking for? 

  • Currently enrolled in a Practical Engineering program in Mechanical or Mechatronics

  • At least three full semesters remaining until graduation; four semesters are preferred (suitable for students in a 3‑year program).

  • Availability for shift-based** work, designed to provide flexibility and support your academic schedule while meeting manufacturing needs

  • Ability to work in a cleanroom manufacturing environment

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and work effectively in a dynamic, hands-on setting

  • Strong team player with a collaborative mindset and positive working relationships

  • Strong technical foundation with a willingness to learn and develop practical skills

  • Ability to work independently and take ownership of assigned tasks

  • English proficiency required (reading and writing)

**Work Model

Shift-based work, including day/night shifts and weekends, in accordance with Fab shift structure
