We are currently recruiting for an PR Specialist to sit within the local market team, based in our Madrid or Barcelona office. You will be reporting into the Head of Marketing & PR for Spain working closely with internal departments and external stakeholders.
This is an opportunity for someone with strong PR and communications experience to help shape and grow UNIQLO’s brand presence in Spain, bringing the LifeWear philosophy to life through compelling storytelling, media relations and culturally relevant partnerships. Working closely with local, European and global teams, you will play a key role in building brand awareness, cultural relevance and community engagement across the Spanish market, while contributing to the continued growth of one of the world’s leading apparel brands.
What you will be responsible for:
Develop and execute PR and communication strategies for Spain, aligned with European and global direction
Strengthen UNIQLO’s brand storytelling across fashion, lifestyle, culture and sustainability
Build and manage strong relationships with media, journalists, KOLs and cultural partners
Lead day-to-day media relations, including press outreach, pitching and interview coordination
Plan and deliver press events, previews, activations and brand initiatives
Own influencer and content creator strategies, managing collaborations end-to-end
Collaborate cross-functionally to drive brand awareness, store traffic and measurable PR impact
Skills, Experience and Attributes:
8+ years’ experience in PR, communications or marketing, ideally within fashion, lifestyle or retail
Strong background in media relations with deep knowledge of the Spanish media landscape
Proven experience delivering influencer and content creator strategies
Track record managing PR campaigns, events, partnerships and integrated initiatives
Established network of media, creators, agencies and cultural partners in Spain
Excellent storytelling skills, translating brand vision into locally relevant impact
Strong understanding of brand communications, digital channels and social platforms
Experience managing budgets and driving measurable results
Fluent Spanish (native) and excellent English communication skills
Strategic, highly organised and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Passion for culture, trends and lifestyle, with a collaborative and proactive mindset
