As part of the phenomenal growth SharkNinja has achieved over the last few years we have an exciting new opportunity for a PR Manager to join our team. 

This regional role will support markets across EMEA, with a focus on South Africa, Italy and Spain. Working cross-functionally, you will develop and deliver breakthrough PR with close country collaboration. 

We are looking for a PR Manager with strategic thinking and a broad spectrum of skills from storytelling to building winning PR plans in EMEA (experience in working with South Africa is essential) 

The PR team protects SharkNinja’s reputation, promoting the brand and its products. The role will be responsible for managing the development and implementation of the EMEA PR strategy, in collaboration with the brand marketing and social teams. This includes promoting the brand across all media types and categories – increasing efforts to deliver earned media outputs in lifestylebeauty and technology media. As the brand continues to grow, this will be a pivotal role in helping to drive awareness and consideration. 

This role will be responsible for creating and delivering successful campaigns to promote new product launches and will ensure integration with other marketing functions (digital, social, partnerships, and media) to maximiseefficiency and ROI. The role will support the development of the PR team across the Demand Generation department, its working relationship with our retained PR agencies and distributor partners, and its remit within the broader earned media team and the local marketing teams.  

What you’ll do:

  • Manage day-to-day PR activity and work closely with the local Marketing and Social Media teams to execute business strategy and objectives across key markets 
  • Localisation and development of high-impact PR assets, including press releases and obtaining local legal approval  
  • Build strong relationships with key media across lifestyle, tech, beauty and trade press 
  • Understand key demographics and relevant cultural trends 
  • Oversee output of external PR agencies and local distributor partners to implement awards and reviews programmes, product launches and integrated campaigns 
  • Manage and oversee written award entries across product ranges 
  • Work with the wider business and external agencies to achieve monthly KPIs set across all territories 
  • Communicate within the EMEA and Global teams regarding content priorities, product focuses, and campaigns on a daily and weekly basis 
  • Prepare and share best practices with local market and global teams 
  • Working with Head of PR for EMEA, manage ongoing budgets and activity spend across key markets 
  • Measure and evaluate - collate weekly reports for monitoring and contributing to wider business updates 

 

What you’ll bring:

  • Proven experience in consumer PR  
  • A multi-tasker that can switch between strategy and tactics 
  • Communicate with external agency partners for EMEA countries – directing them on projects and driving for results             
  • Prepare and share best practices with local market and global teams 
  • Evaluate opportunities for partnerships on an on-going basis 
  • Maintain a keen understanding of industry trends to elevate campaign planning 
  • Be able to manage day-to-day press office activities including sample ordering, review requests and rotation plans for gain maximum results 
  • Experienced in managing PR campaigns with a wide range of objectives and KPIs 
  • Excellent at communicating and have the ability to work well alone, as well as with different departments across the business 
  • Solid media relations skills with existing relationships in the consumer, lifestyle, national and broadcast press 
  • Experience in managing agencies (or coming from agency side) 
  • Experience working across EMEA markets 
  • Passion for food, tech and beauty 
  • A strategic and commercial thinker, able to make recommendations with business KPIs in mind 
  • Someone who demonstrates strong data and analytical skills to interpret results, anticipate challenges, and form solutions 
  • Adaptable, agile, able to multitask, and switch between strategy and tactics 
  • A natural relationship builder 
  • Proficient in Italian and/or Spanish. Fluent in English.
