Your Role
Gensler is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented PR Coordinator to support the execution of strategic partnerships, communications initiatives, and industry engagement activities that strengthen the firm’s brand and reputation.
This role will work closely with the marketing and communications team to coordinate partnerships with key industry organizations, support thought leadership initiatives, and assist with events, communications campaigns, and stakeholder engagement. The PR Coordinator will help ensure seamless coordination across internal teams and external partners while contributing to the visibility of Gensler’s expertise, research, and impact across the built environment.
What You Will Do
Support the coordination and day-to-day management of key industry partnerships and associations (e.g., industry organizations, research partners, and professional networks).
Serve as a point of coordination between internal teams and external partners to ensure successful execution of joint initiatives, events, and programs.
Assist in developing and implementing communication strategies that highlight partnerships, thought leadership, and research initiatives.
Coordinate logistics and communications for events, activations, and industry conferences.
Support the creation and distribution of marketing and promotional materials, including email communications, event collateral, and partnership updates.
Maintain partner and stakeholder databases and assist with reporting on engagement and participation.
Help track program performance metrics and assist with reporting on partnership outcomes and ROI.
Provide administrative and operational support for marketing initiatives, including meeting coordination, documentation, and follow-ups.
Assist with maintaining digital platforms, webpages, and promotional communications related to partnership initiatives.
Coordinate cross-functional collaboration with marketing, communications, research, and leadership teams to ensure alignment with broader firm objectives.
Your Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, Business, or a related field.
2–5 years of experience in public relations, marketing, communications, partnerships coordination, or a related field.
Advanced English proficiency (written and spoken) is required, as this role will interact with global teams and international partners.
Experience supporting events, industry partnerships, or marketing programs is preferred.
Strong organizational and project coordination skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong attention to detail and ability to work collaboratively across teams.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and familiarity with CRM or event management platforms is a plus.
Experience with design tools such as Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, or other Adobe Creative Suite applications is a plus.
Interest in the architecture, design, real estate, or built environment industries is a plus.
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
