About the Project role

As a Senior Developer is a key hands-on contributor in our Power Platform engineering team. You will design and build complex Power Apps and Power Automate workflows for Operations, working closely with the Architect and Product Owner to deliver robust, maintainable solutions.

You will be expected to code confidently in Power Apps (including code apps), use vibe coding and Copilot to accelerate delivery, and help define development standards for the wider team.

Key responsibilities

  • Design, build and enhance Power Apps (canvas/model-driven/code apps) used by Operations teams.
  • Develop robust Power Automate flows to integrate systems, orchestrate processes and reduce manual work.
  • Implement data models in Dataverse; define relationships, business rules and security roles.
  • Use vibe coding and Copilot in Power Apps and GitHub/Power Platform to prototype features, generate boilerplate code and refactor safely.
  • Implement custom connectors, PCF components or Azure Functions when out-of-the-box features are not sufficient.
  • Write clean, testable code and unit tests; participate in code reviews and pair programming.
  • Troubleshoot production issues, perform root-cause analysis and implement permanent fixes.
  • Collaborate with Product Owner and Architect to estimate effort, refine technical designs and identify risks.
  • Contribute to shared libraries, templates and best practices for Power Platform development.
  • Coach junior developers and citizen developers on building maintainable apps and flows.

Skills & experience

  • 5+ years of professional software development experience, with at least 3+ years focused on Microsoft Power Platform.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Power Apps and Power Automate; confident building end-to-end apps for real business users.
  • Good working knowledge of Dataverse, data connectors and REST APIs.
  • Practical experience with one or more of: JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML/CSS, C# or similar languages.
  • Experience using vibe.powerapps / vibe coding, Power Apps Copilot and/or GitHub Copilot in daily development work.
  • Familiarity with source control and DevOps practices (Git, pull requests, branching, CI/CD).
  • Comfort working in agile teams with sprints, stand-ups, reviews and retrospectives.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail; able to debug complex issues across app, flow and data layers.
  • Clear communication skills in English and Spanish; able to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
