About the Project role

As a Power Platform Architect is the technical leader for our operations-focused Power Platform portfolio. You will design end-to-end architectures, set development standards, and provide hands-on guidance across multiple squads building apps, automations and integrations.
This role requires full-stack experience across Power Apps (including code-first / vibe.powerapps), Dataverse, Azure integration services and DevOps practices. You should be comfortable using vibe coding and Copilot as part of your own workflow and coaching developers to do the same.

Key responsibilities

  • Own the overall technical architecture for Operations solutions built on Power Platform.
  • Design end-to-end solutions using Power Apps (canvas, model-driven and code apps), Power Automate, Dataverse and Power BI, plus Azure services where required.
  • Define patterns and reference architectures for common Operations scenarios (e.g. case management, approvals, onboarding, workflows, dashboards).
  • Lead technical design sessions; review solution designs, data models, integration patterns and security.
  • Provide hands-on guidance on vibe.powerapps, code components, custom connectors, and advanced configuration.
  • Establish and enforce coding standards, branching strategies and CI/CD pipelines (e.g. Git, GitHub/Azure DevOps) for Power Platform projects.
  • Ensure solutions meet non-functional requirements: performance, scalability, resilience, observability and supportability.
  • Work closely with the Product Owner and Operations stakeholders to assess feasibility, complexity and trade-offs.
  • Promote the adoption of AI-assisted development practices (vibe coding, Copilot, GitHub Copilot) in a controlled and governed way.
  • Oversee environment strategy, ALM, data governance, security roles and compliance in collaboration with platform admins.
  • Mentor senior and mid-level developers, providing regular design reviews and coaching.

Skills & experience

  • 8+ years in software engineering, with at least 4+ years focused on Microsoft Power Platform.
  • Proven experience as a Solution/Technical Architect on medium-to-large Power Apps and Power Automate implementations.
  • Strong full-stack profile and COPilot:
  • Front end: Power Apps (canvas/model-driven/code apps), PCF components, responsive UX.
  • Data: Dataverse, SQL, data modeling, security roles.
  •  Integration: Power Automate Cloud flow, REST APIs, custom connectors, Azure Functions/Logic Apps, Service Bus, webhooks.
  • DevOps: source control, branching, automated builds and deployments for Power Platform solutions.
  • COPilot Studio
  •  Demonstrated use of vibe.powerapps / vibe coding and Copilot to design and build enterprise-grade apps.
  • Solid understanding of operations / back-office domains and how to translate process maps into digital solutions.
  • Experience defining ALM, environment strategy and governance for Power Platform in a multi-team organization.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills; able to explain complex technical choices in simple terms.
  • Professional certifications on Power Platform or Azure are a plus (but not mandatory if experience is equivalent).
  • Fluent in English and Spanish.
