The opportunity:
Define and implement sales and marketing strategies for the assigned segment in order to achieve Hitachi Energy market penetration and growth aspirations. Manage the marketing and sales action plans to both achieve the key qualitative and quantitative targets in a profitable way and to ensure high level of customer satisfaction.
How you’ll make an impact:
You will define and implement the segment sales strategy and budget and ensure regular follow-up with oversight country, drive the growth of the top line in each target segment.
You will define appropriate local targets for the sales unit, based on key objectives set by global Business Units and global segment leaders, ensure these are achieved through regular oversight, and definition and implementation of improvement plans as needed.
You will assess market trends, customers, competitors, industries, applications and country analyses to identify and realize opportunities with existing and potential new customers within the target segment, feedback to the Business Units/Product Groups on market trends, competitive landscape, market-pricing expectations, channel strategy and local conditions to win. You will build and maintain strong relationships at senior levels with the key customers, stakeholders and other decision makers, ensure effective marketing communications, in particular Hitachi Energy’s value proposition.
You will agree with the Business Unit/Product Group about the relevant metrics (e.g. On Time In Full (OTIF), lead time) that the Business Unit/Product Group must report and focus on to ensure and grow customer satisfaction, support the development of strong relationships with key customers.
You will build and maintain strong relationships with key decision makers, ensure efficient marketing communications, ensure achievement of sales volume and targets by setting appropriate price and margin for sales booked locally.
You will participate in negotiation of key contracts, manage ongoing costs by using latest global tools and processes to maximize efficiency within the team, ensure both self and team always act with the highest standards of integrity and Health and Safety, support the risk management process by feeding back local information regarding financial status, change of ownership, etc. to relevant internal partners.
You will be responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.

Your background:
You hold a degree BA/BS in Electrical/Engineering.
3 to 5 years of experience in Sales and Marketing position from electrical industry.
Demonstrated Negotiation skills, Sales and Marketing strategy capability.
Business Development Skills Proficient with MS Word, Excel.
Proficient in English communication.
