About This Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Power BI & Power Apps Developer to design, develop, and maintain advanced analytics dashboards and business applications using the Microsoft Power Platform. This role requires deep expertise in Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate, DAX, Power Query (M), and strong integration skills with Azure, Dataverse, SharePoint, and SQL-based data sources.

What You’ll Do

Power BI Development
•    Design and develop enterprise-grade Power BI dashboards and reports for executive, operational, and analytical use.
•    Build and optimize complex DAX measures, calculated tables, and performance-tuned data models.
•    Develop and maintain Power Query (M) transformations for large, multi-source datasets.
•    Implement Row-Level Security (RLS) and role-based access control.
•    Optimize dataset refresh performance and capacity utilization.
•    Maintain certified datasets and semantic models following best practices.
Power Apps Development
•    Design and build Canvas and Model-Driven Power Apps for business process automation.
•    Create user-friendly interfaces with strong UX focus.
•    Integrate Power Apps with Dataverse, SharePoint, SQL, APIs, and external systems.
•    Implement validation logic, security roles, and performance optimization.
Power Automate & Integration
•    Develop Power Automate flows for approvals, notifications, data synchronization, and business workflows.
•    Integrate solutions with Azure Logic Apps, SharePoint, Dataverse, and third-party connectors.
•    Manage automated data pipelines and monitoring.
Data & Architecture
•    Partner with data engineers to define data modeling standards, star schemas, and semantic layer strategy.
•    Support cloud-based architectures (Azure), including Dataflows, Synapse, Azure SQL, and storage.
•    Ensure data integrity, governance, and documentation.
Stakeholder Engagement
•    Work directly with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into scalable solutions.
•    Lead solution design discussions and present insights to executive audiences.
•    Provide technical leadership and mentoring to junior developers.
Operational Excellence
•    Maintain version control, documentation, and deployment pipelines.
•    Ensure solutions follow security, governance, and compliance standards.
•    Troubleshoot production issues and perform root-cause analysis.

Who you are
Technical Skills

•    5+ years of hands-on experience with Power BI
•    3+ years of experience with Power Apps (Canvas & Model-Driven)
•    Advanced proficiency in:
o    DAX
o    Power Query (M)
o    Dataverse
o    Power Automate
•    Strong experience with:
o    SQL Server / Azure SQL
o    REST APIs & data connectors
o    SharePoint & Microsoft 365 ecosystem
•    Experience with:
o    Azure services (Dataflows, Synapse, Storage Accounts, Functions)
o    Data modeling (star schema, fact/dimension design)
o    Performance tuning and capacity optimization

Preferred Qualifications
•    Microsoft certifications (PL-300, PL-400, DP-500)
•    Experience with CI/CD for Power Platform
•    Experience in enterprise data governance and security
•    Background in financial, insurance, or enterprise operations analytics
