Power Apps / Power BI Developer (NAVAIR Support) The successful candidate will serve as a subject-matter expert in modern data visualization and low‑code development platforms, including but not limited to Power Apps, Power BI, and Qlik Sense. In this role, the candidate will design, develop, and deploy advanced analytical solutions that transform complex datasets into actionable insights for stakeholders across NAVAIR.
Roles and Responsibilities:
The developer will be responsible for enabling data-driven decision‑making by providing hands-on support, training, and guidance to distributed teams, ensuring the effective adoption and use of enterprise analytics tools.
This role requires an individual capable of serving as a catalyst for innovation—streamlining business processes, enhancing data accessibility, and promoting standardized reporting practices across the command.
Additional responsibilities include analyzing business requirements and recommending tools, features, and system improvements to increase operational efficiency.
The candidate will actively participate in sprint reviews, design discussions, and agile development activities; document and communicate technical requirements; conduct solution testing; and support end users during deployment and sustainment activities.
The candidate will also serve as a SharePoint Online Site Collection Administrator, managing site structure, permissions, content organization, and user support to ensure alignment with NAVAIR policies and governance standards.
Basic Qualifications:
Education: BS/BA
Certification(s): Comptia Sec+
Experience: 5 years. Demonstrated proficiency in Power Apps (canvas and model‑driven applications). Advanced experience with Power BI, including data modeling, DAX, and dashboard/report developmen. Experience administering SharePoint Online, including site collections, permissions, and content management
Clearance & Citizenship: Secret security clearance; U.S. citizenship required.
