The Boeing CompanyBoeing Test and Evaluation (BT&E) is currently seeking Test and Evaluation Engineers to join our team in Berkeley, MO.
This position will support electronic design related to instrumentation data acquisition, transmission, display, and storage in support of end-user requirements in both flight and laboratory test environments. The successful candidates will pursue solutions to complex data acquisition requirements that often push state-of-art capability.
Our teams are currently hiring for a broad range of experience levels including Entry and Associate Level Test and Evaluation Engineers.
Position Responsibilities:
Develops and documents standardized test methods and processes to ensure repeatability and productivity
Understanding of test procedures
Applies lessons learned to the improvement of test procedures
Designs calibration system/test fixtures
Develops data processing tools and algorithms
Generates calibration procedures and software
Guides others in the design of test hardware, software and systems to achieve test requirements
Oversees debriefing of the test team
Understanding of the analysis, processing and formatting of data to customer requirements
Approves test data prior to delivery to customer
Formulates expectations for test data based on historical data
Performs functions as required to ensure calibration system readiness and data validity
Works under minimal direction
Tests and validate Special Test Equipment (STE) to ensure system designs meet operational and functional requirements
Troubleshoot and solve hardware failures encountered during STE validations
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
1 or more years’ related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Experience in general analog electronic circuit design: specifically, ruggedized power electronics design (power supplies, EMI filters, ect.)
Experience with the design, development, and integration of complex electronic systems or subsystems
Experience with planning, operation and troubleshooting of instrumentations and data acquisition systems

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
Summary Pay Range for Entry level (Level 1): $71,400 – $96,600
Summary Pay Range for Associate level (Level 2): $85,000 – $115,000
