POSITION SPECIFICS
The Postdoctoral Scholar will be part of a team that is advancing the integrated movement modeling framework and is making them accessible to ecologists. The Postdoctoral Scholar will help develop, apply, and assess model extensions, interpret the scientific results, and disseminate the results via peer-reviewed publications.
Responsibilities include working with collaborators to identify research questions and pertinent datasets, fitting and assessing models to the acquired data, performing simulations to test model assumptions, interpreting results, managing datasets and code workflows, communication of results via reports, presentations, and peer-reviewed publications, and assisting with workshops.
Applicants are required to have a Ph.D. or equivalent doctorate in an appropriate field and be able to provide evidence that all requirements have been met for completion of the Ph.D. prior to the effective date of hire.
