Summary of Duties and Responsibilities:
The Department of Veterinary Microbiology and Preventive Medicine (VMPM) at Iowa State University invites applications for a Postdoctoral Associate position. We seek a highly motivated researcher to develop and evaluate vaccines and immunomodulatory interventions to protect against respiratory viral diseases.
This position will involve in vitro screening of vaccine and immunomodulatory candidates, as well as in vivo testing using animal models. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to contribute to multiple research projects, including studies focused on diseases of veterinary importance.
In this role, the postdoctoral associate will actively participate in the preparation of manuscripts and technical reports and provide support for grant-writing and funding initiatives.
Required Minimum Qualifications (for temps/postdocs only, delete for all other positions):
PhD in Microbiology, Immunology, Preventive Medicine or related field.
