The interdisciplinary lab of Dr. Peixuan Guo at The Ohio State University seeks a recently graduated Ph.D in biophysics to work on RNA nanotechnology, RNA structure and function, TIRF imaging, optical tweezers (both are lab-build equipment by our team), RNA motility, RNA dynamics,  RNA therapeutics, nucleic acid chemistry, cancer mRNA-vaccines, RNA delivery,  molecular biology, biotechnology, RNA motility, RNA dynamics,  biochemistry, protein/RNA structural computation and RNA  Nanotechnology. We aim to train and create the next generation of scientific leaders and workforce to transform innovative research and RNA nanotechnology into applications and therapeutics. The researcher will apply modern technologies for the chemical modification of RNA nanoparticles or mRNA for in vivo imaging and to deliver RNA in vivo for disease treatment and cancer prevention, in combination with RNA and DNA packaging mechanisms, as well as exosome delivery technology.

Required Qualifications: PhD in biophysics, chemistry, biochemistry, cell biology, molecular biology, bio-computation, or biomedical engineering. Strong oral and written communication skills, organizational capacity, interpersonal, teamwork skills, be highly motivated, show good communication skills. Previous experience in RNA, biophysics, or biomedical engineering is preferred.
