PG Retesting Operator (Specjalista ds. Legalizacji i Konserwacji Butli) is responsible for the legalisation, retesting, and maintenance of gas cylinders, ensuring their compliance with all relevant safety standards and regulations. This role is critical to maintaining the operational integrity and safety of Air Liquide Polska's gas cylinder fleet.


 


Job Responsibilities

* Perform periodic retesting and internal inspection of gas cylinders according to national and international standards (e.g., UDT, ADR, TPED).
* Conduct visual and hydrostatic tests on cylinders to identify defects, corrosion, or damage.
* Execute necessary repairs and maintenance tasks on cylinders, including valve replacement, internal cleaning, and painting.
* Accurately record all retesting and maintenance data, including test results, repairs performed, and cylinder specifications.
* Ensure proper marking and labeling of retested cylinders in accordance with legal requirements.
* Operate and maintain specialized equipment used for cylinder retesting and maintenance.
* Adhere strictly to all health, safety, and environmental (HSE) policies and procedures.
* Collaborate with other team members to optimize workflow and efficiency in the cylinder maintenance department.
* Identify and report any non-conformities or potential safety hazards.
* Participate in training programs to stay updated on new regulations, technologies, and best practices in cylinder retesting and maintenance.

Our Requirements

  • Education: Secondary or vocational education (technical is preferred).

  • Skills and Attributes: Excellent self-organisation, commitment, conscientiousness, and the ability to work in a team.

  • Working Hours: Readiness to work in a two-shift system from 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM and from 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM.

Highly Desirable

  • Forklift License/Certification: A valid forklift operator's license/certification will be considered a significant advantage.
