Portfolio Manager

ICF NEXT is looking for a Portfolio Manager to work at one of their clients' premises.

We are seeking a dynamic Portfolio Manager to support organisational efforts in effectively articulating and promoting Information Security practices across the enterprise. This role is pivotal in ensuring that security-related policies are communicated clearly and understood throughout all departments. The consultant will help shape the narrative around information security and foster organisational cohesion through strategic communication.

Key Responsibilities

Policy Communication and Promotion

  • Advise departments by crafting and promoting messages that clearly communicate the organisation’s Information Security Policy.
  • Develop strategies covering protocols for recruitment and staff screening, safeguarding assets, and ensuring compliance with legal, ethical, and regulatory standards.

Organisational Communication Support and Collaboration

  • Design and manage systems that enhance information sharing and cooperation among employees and departments engaged in information security.
  • Provide stakeholders with legal, policy, or IT advice to ensure clarity and effective implementation of security procedures.

Network Coordination and Messaging

  • Assist in coordinating and communicating within internal networks, including those responsible for classified information registries.
  • Facilitate exchanges between security authorities and communicate their roles and relationships effectively.

Negotiation Communication Support

  • Manage and communicate the organisation’s participation in negotiations with external bodies, maintaining strong working relationships.
  • Ensure procedures are clearly communicated during negotiations involving classified information exchange.

Required Skills and Experience

  • Strong communication and analytical skills; organised, detail-oriented, and eager to learn.
  • Experience in information security, cybersecurity, or security policy.
  • Legal and/or IT expertise is a strong asset.
  • Familiarity with complex institutional environments is desirable.

Additional Competencies

  • Portfolio, project, service, and/or quality management.
  • Knowledge of management standards, methodologies, and reporting.
  • Problem-solving mindset.
  • Proficiency with widely used portfolio and project management tools.
  • Customer/user-focused approach.

Language & Experience

  • English: C1 level (understanding, speaking, writing).
  • Minimum of 9 years’ professional experience.
