To lead our HP Solutions toward this goal, is a complex portfolio of HW, SW and services,  HP is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Portfolio Management leader. The role of portfolio management function will be responsible of connectiveness of the HW, SW and Services driving customer first solutions, provide oversight, guidance, and governance to ensure that the organization's portfolio is aligned with its strategic objectives, optimized to achieve the best possible return on investment, and effectively mitigate risks and maximize performance.

Supporting these objectives, the Portfolio Management function will be responsible for the definition, oversight, and continuous improvement of critical processes and functions across the multiple services lines (lines of business). While each service line is accountable for the results of its respective sub-portfolio, the overall prioritization of where we make investments will be governed across service lines. 
 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Portfolio Growth and Strategy to Execution: Key measurement is revenue growth for interconnected portfolio items of HPS. Portfolio Management is responsible for facilitating the execution of a sustainable growth flywheel by leading the discovery of dependencies, synergies, and dyssynergies, across the portfolio to deliver high value solutions to our customers.  Working closely with the head of Strategy, you are also responsible for ensuring that the organization's portfolio is aligned with its overall strategy and goals.
  • Portfolio System: Deliver on a best-in-class portfolio and tooling. Build on the current PMO foundation to improve process maturity and governance to accelerate time to market and time to revenue. Must create and maintain a strategic portfolio management tool to align product portfolio, roadmap, investments, delivery status, business cases, customer adoption and business performance. Align executive stakeholders.
  • Portfolio roadmap alignment and external announcements:   Coordination and aggregation of all the entire roadmaps to align on the strong differentiated message in the different news moments along the year

Experience:

  • Typically, 15+ years’ experience in IT technology or services industry portfolio management, , general management and preferably actual product management responsibilities in a global software or services company.  
  • Experience on linking HW and SW portfolios into solutions
  • Experience in portfolio roadmap planning, tracking and governance – preferably with enterprise-class platforms such as Planview, Aha!, ProductBoard, or equivalent.
  • Extensive business acumen, technical knowledge, and industry experience encompassing one or more engineering, technology, and product domains.
  • Track record of business impact and bringing innovation to market to create value for customers.  
  • Passion for solving customer problems.
  • Proven ability to lead and influence in a complex, highly matrixed, global company.
  • Experience managing large global teams and conducting business internationally; ability to recognize and leverage local cultures and capabilities to drive innovation in thinking and collaboration across a large, diverse team.
  • Executive presence and strong communication skills; ability to influence CXOs internally and externally; ability to build consensus across the organization to make things happen.
  • Track record of building high performance teams. 
  • Strong leadership skills – motivating, coaching, supporting teams in a global hybrid environment.

Knowledge/Skills:

  • Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex problems, identify opportunities, and develop effective solutions.
  • Excellent process management skills, with the ability to manage multiple processes simultaneously while continuously measuring and improving those processes.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and lead a global multi-disciplinary team of planners, analysts, and internal consultants.

The pay range for this role is $159,650 to $255,450 USD annually with additional opportunities for pay in the form of bonus and/or equity (applies to United States of America candidates only). Pay varies by work location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
